November 2009 - Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Vancouver)
BGC's Vancouver office is seeking an experienced senior geotechnical engineer with a background in heavy civil infrastructure and waste management design. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, 10+ years relevant work experience, and an ability to manage multi-disciplined project teams working in remote, challenging environments. Arctic and tropical experience is considered an asset.
Candidates shall possess a post-graduate degree in geotechnical engineering. An advanced understanding of geotechnical engineering, engineering geology and rock mechanics, as well as proven communication skills, are essential. Foreign language skills, particularly Spanish, are a definite asset.
Candidates must be eligible for registration in British Columbia as a Professional Engineer.
Work Locations
Vancouver, British Columbia with projects situated throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia.
