BGC's Calgary office is seeking an experienced senior geotechnical engineer with a background in Tailings and Water Dam Design, Pipeline Routing and Permafrost Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, 10+ years relevant work experience, and an ability to manage multi-disciplined project teams working in remote, challenging environments. Arctic and tropical experience is considered an asset.

Candidates should possess a post-graduate degree in geotechnical engineering; an advanced understanding of geotechnical engineering, engineering geology and rock mechanics, as well as proven communication skills, are essential. Foreign language skills, particularly Spanish, are a definite asset.

Candidates must be eligible for registration in Alberta as a Professional Engineer.

Work Locations

Calgary, Alberta, with projects situated throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia.
